How often should my pet be groomed?
A lot depends on the pets lifestyle and living conditions, as a general guide. Dogs who have their hair cut in particular clips such as Poodles, Cockers, Lhasa Apsos, Shih Tzus, Bischons etc. should be groomed every 4-6 weeks. Bath dogs such as Labradors, Shepherds, Collies, etc. and cats should be groomed every 6-8 weeks.
How long does the process take?
The amount of time spent depends on the size, breed, and temperament of the pet, as well as the regularity of grooming the pet has received. Typically, we allow 1.5 to 2 hours per pet. 95% of the time will complete the grooming process in 2 hours or less, providing your pet with a positive grooming experience in a modern and spacious facility. (If more time is spent, additional charges may be made.)
Do you require vaccinations?
No. This is a one-on-one experience. Your pet will not be in contact with other animals. Because of this, we do not require a copy of vaccinations for the groom. By law, the state will require a copy of the Rabies vaccine if the dog bites or attacks the groomer.
Can I be in the salon during the groom?
Due to safety and liability issues, we cannot allow anyone other than the trained stylist and pet in the van during the appointment. We would be happy to give you a tour of the van before the appointment begins.
Can I use my own shampoo?
Yes. We use Pet Silk products and offer Hypo-allergenic options. However, if you are more comfortable using your own pet shampoo or vet prescribed shampoo, we would be happy to use your own.
What are anal glands?
They are the scent sacs inside the dog’s anus. Some dogs empty them naturally, some do not. Your groomer can check if they need to be emptied /expressed.
Not Happy with the service?
Please tell us within 24 hours and allow us to make it right. We aim to satisfy. On the occasion where a haircut is not to your liking and it is a matter of a little more trimming here or there, the groomer may be able to do it right away or sometimes they may have to go back again on another day.

Why don't you show the prices?
There are a number of factors that need to be considered: The pets age, weight, temperament, coat condition, fleas and tick killing shampoo, de-shedding & de-matting, skin-soothing, skunk odor, hand cutting etc. desired style. If you contact us, we can provide you with a guide price and then our trained groomers can assess the pet and provide you with a specific price.
What is your cancellation fee?
In the unlikely event that you do not cancel your appointment in 24 hours a $30 fee will be charged to cover gas and the groomer on call.
